Former bikie associate and eastern suburbs identity Mark Judge, who survived a stabbing attack last year, is behind bars accused of a vicious assault in Kings Cross.
Mr Judge, a one-time close friend of soapie starlet Jodi Gordon, attended Kings Cross police station shortly after midday today.
He was formally charged with the alleged assault last weekend.
He has been refused bail and will face face Parramatta Local Court tomorrow.
Detectives had hoped he would face court this afternoon.
Mr Judge, and another man, have been charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in company, reckless wounding in company and affray.
The incident allegedly occurred about 4am last Saturday, in a confrontation with three other men on Ward Avenue, that runs behind Kings Cross police station.
One of the alleged victims is in hospital with a fractured jaw, while another has a head injury.
Mr Judge was stabbed dozens of times in the chest and torso in an attack outside his Bellevue Hill apartment block last year.
A man was arrested at Sydney Airport in February in connection with the attack.
